The department of Geology deals with the application of geological knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering for execution of safe, stable and economic constructions like dams, bridges, tunnels and water conservation structures like percolation tank etc. This department is one of the oldest PhD. and PG centers in Geology under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Currently, the department is engaged in Geohydrology and Watershed management activities.
